Jan. 23rd is a special day in our family, it is Charlotte's birthday & my in-laws anniversary. This year we celebrated their 50th in a fun way. We surprised them with a shopping trip for mom to pick out a dress, hair/makeup for the big day (courtesy of a good friend of mine) and a lovely dinner at an awesome restaurant in Bellevue called Revival. It is a cool old home that was converted into an upscale bistro. It was in complete disarray before it was renovated. The project took two years to complete, but the end result is amazing. This restaurant is about 3 blocks from my dental practice & it is a great addition to the neighborhood. They have a separate little house on the property that makes for a lovely, intimate setting. I, thankfully, know the owner & was able to get us the little house reserved for their special night. It was a fun evening celebrating their golden anniversary.

Princess Charlotte
Following the party, Charlotte & I decided to do a photoshoot to reuse all the balloons that I had blown up for her family party. She & I had a blast with these. She loved dressing up and posing. What a ham!
Charlotte's 4th birthday
On Jan. 23rd, our baby turned 4. She has grown so much this last year. She started preschool and began to develop so much independence. She went from being rocked each night to brushing her own teeth & tucking herself in, mostly on her floor bed in our room. She is quite the character, always jovial and telling everyone what she thinks. Charlotte is a girly girl and loves barbies, her hand-me-down american girl dolls, and Elsa. She also likes paw patrol especially the vehicles. I was so bummed not to be able to throw her an actual party (thanks Covid), but we did a family party instead. Charlotte loves nothing more than being the center of attention so this was perfect for her. We love you Ms. Charlotte; you are a joy to our family.
