The newborn/family pics are here!!!

Today, was a very good day for me, a day that seemed like Christmas!  I got our order from Gabriella's newborn shoot and am so happy to share some of these images with our blog readers.  I know that I will always treasure these images and the time they capture...I already see these becoming family heirlooms for our girls.  Last year, we had the same photographer do Jessica's newborn pics and when I found out I was having another little girl, I called our photographer, Tiffany Bender of Munchkins and Mohawks Photographer, right away!  She is in high demand and we feel very fortunate that she was willing to come back to our home to help us make these memories.  Not only is Tiffany very talented, she is a wonderful, Godly, young mother.  So a big thank you to Tiffany & hope everyone enjoys!  (Now which ones to order as large canvases to decorate our home....decisions, decisions :)

Love that little baby bum

She almost looks like she is praying here

Very proud daddy!

Love this one....that's our Jessie with my hands holding her up

You'd never know Ella had peed & pooped on dada just before this one was taken

Getting this one as a large canvas, just love it :)

One of my personal favorites

This one is very special to me also

Love this one, I was telling Jessie to use nice hands

My beautiful little girl

Isn't her face angelic?

The Parents to The Stars of the Show

Welcome to our blog!  Shannon (me) is the blogging diva in our house & Michael is our most loyal reader.  We have been married since Aug. 17, 2003 & have 3 adorable kiddos (the stars of the show).  We currently call Pittsburgh home!   Michael is a rockstar scientist & I work part-time as a general dentist in my own office.  My hobbies are varied, although photography & cooking are my current favs.  We love the Lord & my goal is that this blog would be a record for our family.  Many blessings to those who read.  Welcome to our world :)

Construction has begun!!

Yesterday, our basement remodel began & I'm so excited!  We are finishing half of the basement in order to make a playroom/4th bedroom in our home.  I had originally planned to put the girls together into the one big room that is now Ella's nursery (and that still is the plan for later), but for now, neither is sleeping through the night & we have limited options as far as where guests can sleep when they visit.  Frankly, I'm also a little tired of toys being everywhere in our home.  My hope is that this will be a great area for them to play when we can't go outside (a nice wasteland of toys) & a nice room for people to stay in when they visit.  Although it is noisy--this is a much easier remodel than the kitchen remodel that happened last fall [no kitchen for 6 weeks---not fun].  I took a few before pictures yesterday (well, not totally before--there are some studs already up).  And I'll post after pics when it's all done, which should be in about 2-3 weeks.  This morning the construction crew is already here & Jessica is a little clingy.  She decided to "help" me with the laundry, well, really just get in the laundry basket while wearing her rain boots (pic below).  All these things are great, but the most exciting thing in our family this week is that we will be welcoming a little nephew on Friday!!!  Michael's sister, Wendy, is scheduled to be induced this Friday and I couldn't be more excited for her.  Although, it's an adjustment having 2 kids I know she, her husband, and big sister Hannah will all do great with baby boy Muller.  In honor of this event, Gabriella wanted to wear her "I love my auntie bib" this morning while eating her breakfast (pic below, of course, right?)  Well, my internet is about to be turned off, so hope everyone has a wonderful day!

It always helps to wear rainboots while doing the laundry!
