A diva in her fur coat

I guess I can not deny that my girls like the finer things in life....Ms. Jessica especially.  The other day when we were stuck inside thanks to the snowy weather Jessica decided to wear the furry rug (I got for use in the girls pics) as a coat.  Well, little Ms. just had such diva-like expressions I had to capture some of these for you to see.  Every time the baby would come over to pull it off of her, Jessica would say wrap.  As in, wrap me up in the furry rug again Mama.  Such a little character!  Have a great Friday ;)

9 months old

What can I say about this last month with Ella, except that it made me realize just how precious she is to us.  Her little smiles, little coos, and all the funny things she does to keep us laughing.  She's pulling up on almost everything and loves, loves to eat.  She's kind of leveled off around 21 lbs or so, but she has a peds appointment next week so I'll give you the actual stats then ;) The pics I took for this monthly birthday were not easy to get as little miss is always on the go & doesn't want to sit still for very long, but I think I got some that are really adorable.  Happy 9 months to our beautiful baby girl.
Got this fuzzy "fur" rug at Walmart for 14.95---still cheaper than getting photos done or ordering a "real" fur; you can see her little teeth on the lower & look at those rosy cheeks

Of course, I had to make her a blue satin rose...goes perfectly with her eyes, don't you think??

Silly little one

I know she's not looking at me, but I truly love this one

The satin rose covers her bald spot from sleeping perfectly ;)

Mama...I don't know about all this--look at all the drool

Because she kept crawling away...I put her in this basket...I think these are really cute

She's so funny with her posing

Tired, but still cute...I did hand color the rose dark blue, don't know if you can see it or not

My favorite

This one is cute too

Our chubbers

The intensity of her stare is priceless

She looks like she wants to break out in this one

Twinsies

I know it may sounds crazy to those of you that read this blog, but I've actually been asked if my girls are twins.  Now, call me crazy, but one has long hair, can talk, and drinks from a cup (all obvious) differences from the little one that has just a little hair, just whines, and still takes a bottle.  You might be thinking a man must have asked you that, no, a woman with children of her own.  I wasn't offended  and truly when you see me with my twin stroller, you may think that also, thanks to Jessica's waif nature & well then there's Ella (aka the pudge) who is ample.  Also, it probably doesn't help my case that I do tend to dress them alike.  Here's some pics of my little ones wearing the matching coats that Grandma Passineau got them (yeah, I've gotten my money's worth out of those pics & promise this will be the last of the leopard print coats for now--I'll shoot some new ones ;)  Enjoy & have a wonderful day!
Ella is a little out of focus, but still pretty good for 2 under 2--guess I've gotta stop saying that

Totally unposed, Ella crawled into this ground cover & then Jessie had to do it too

Just liked this sepia one of them from behind

Jessie showing her sister the moon

Love this one...Ella's just happy to be part of anything Jessie wants to do, it's very sweet

Little Sweeties

My inspiration for these pics came from a mom on Pinterest, but the models & styling are all mine.  Here's what happens when I look at Pinterest too much.  Hope you enjoy some Valentine's themed pics of our little sweeties.  Happy Valentine's from our little sweeties!

If I have to bribe her with a cookie...I will!

So big

Inevitably a game of peakaboo breaks out

Look at that satin rose

Kitty Jill even got in the pics

Hand-colored using layers in my photo editor

Ms. Priss

The little "stinkweed"

Mama--what are you doing??

Hate I cut her hand off in this one, but still cute....laughing at the sister

My fav of the day

Also very cute

Gotta have a hand-colored one of her also

Very "modelesque" with the hand draped over the side

Thankful

Some of you that follow my blog may have noticed my lack of posting on Friday.  As I type this entry, my heart is still heavy with the events of Thursday Feb. 9th.  Ella briefly went underwater in the tub, inhaled bath water, and stopped breathing.  I pulled her out of the tub, gave 2 rescue breaths which caused her to begin breathing and vomiting.  I then called 911 and we were transported to the ER to have her checked out.  Long story short...she is completely & perfectly fine, although I feel as though I have aged about 10 years.  It's one of those things you hear parents say all the time, but truly, things happened so fast, I'm still not completely sure how things transpired to cause this near fatal accident.  If you are a parent of small kids please be careful during bath time.  I consider myself a very cautious mother & if this can happen to me, it can happen to you!  I turned for no more than 15-20 sec to grab a towel and it nearly cost me my daughter. All I can say at this point is that I feel so incredibly thankful that she was revived so quickly and that she is as perfect as she has always been.  I am struggling with the images of this day, but continue to remind myself of God's hand of protection on my baby girl.  If you are reading this entry, please remember to thank God today for saving our little Ella and for the children in your lives.  I am truly humbled, thankful, grateful---whatever words you want to use, I am at a loss for words for how happy I am that little Ella is still with us.  She is a special light in our lives and we pray that she would grow to serve God as He sees fit.  Lifting up praise to our Heavenly Father for the grace he showed to our family!

Sunny wagon ride

Little Ella has really started to enjoy riding in the wagon with Jessica.  A few days ago they both needed to get out of the house, well, mommy needed to get out of the house & I just knew that I could lure Jessica out with the words "wagon ride".  Here are some pics of Ms. Ella doing her thing in the wagon.  She's really such a little silly one right now & wants to be in everything her sister is into.  I know I'm terribly biased, but she's a pretty baby (a chunker, but a cutie ;).  Some of these pics I even caught my reflection in her eyes, don't know if you'll be able to see it, but I can see it on my computer....I think that means my focusing is getting better.  Enjoy & have a great day!!  Oh to be almost 9 months old & your only concern is how to get yourself into everything your sister is into..what a life, right??

I was attempting to get that golden haze that many pros get in their pics...I like it, don't know if it's technically right, but looks pretty

Ahhh....mama, that sun feels so good

I may have gotten carried away with my skin smoothing in this one, but she was a little wind chapped

Again, I was intentionally going for that golden haze in this pic...she's so cute clapping in it ;)

You can actually see my reflection in her left eye (on my screen, anyway)

Shot this one wide open at f1.8--love the blurred out background

This is expression is so her

Chubbers...love her!
