Special ornaments 2014
As usual, Michael has spoiled the girls with special ornaments for 2014. He had to go to eBay to find these, as there are no Elsa ornaments to be found & certainly no Maleficent ornaments in stores. Seeing as how Jessica went as everyones favorite evil mistress, Maleficent, for Halloween he thought it appropriate that this be her ornament. And well for Ella there really was no other choice besides Elsa....seeing as how the little girl is Frozen obsessed. We took a few pics yesterday to document this years ornaments. I think this is a great yearly tradition to take pics of the ornaments & of the kids with the ornaments. It might be fun to look back someday & to see all their yearly ornaments. Thanks to my folks, Nuna & Pawpaw for the beautiful dresses. And thanks to Michael for making their Christmas extra special this year with these unique ornaments.
P.S. We did get a family ornament for this year also, it has 4 little campers represented, we thought that was perfect for this year :)

Gingerbread house display
Every year in the heart of downtown, they have a gingerbread display with trains & Santas from around the world. Many professional bakers & school children enter their best gingerbread creations & they are put on display for all to see. This year we took the girls, they loved seeing all the houses & Ella especially loved the train display. We gave the girls a treat & took the small subway that Pittsburgh has down to Market Square where this display is located. They loved it! The gingerbread displays are always lovely, but this year, there were many Frozen-themed gingerbread houses, which the girls really loved. It was a great way to spend Saturday evening!
