Big news

Well, I think it's time to spill the beans as I'm almost 2nd trimester.  We got a pretty big surprise & are expecting our 3rd child, Jan. 29, 2017.  The girls are very excited to be BIG sisters.  We don't know gender yet, but will find out soon enough.  I've been having a pretty rough trimester as my morning sickness has been especially bad & I've been very tired, but otherwise I'm getting through it.  The girls call the baby, "Binky" for now, I'm sure the name will develop as we find out gender.  The girls are hoping for a little sister, but time will tell.  I'll update more soon, but we are very excited!

Growing up

Ms. Ella is certainly growing up these days!  I am in the thick of Kindergarten registration & am surprised by how grown up she seems lately.  She's very independent and although, I know she's ready for the big K, mommy is not!  Here's to several ore weeks of summer before the big day :)

Father's Day 2016

Happy Father's Day to the best daddy our gils could ever hope for....Michael.  Michael epitomizes sacrifice for the good of the family.  He so rarely does for himself so that we can have so much.  We spent Father's Day at home this year celebrating this guy.  I made Crab cake benedict for him & a homemade turtle cheesecake....it's delicious.  We love you, Michael.  Happy Father's Day 2016.

Memorial Day at the Lake

This year we spent Memorial Day at Lake Erie, mostly visiting our usual places in Westfield, NY.  We love, love this area as there are many wonderful things to do, great places to eat, & farmer's markets.  We took off from Pittsburgh the Friday before & stayed through Sunday evening when we got rained out.  It was a great weekend to spend time together as a family and nice time away from the moving/unpacking that has been our life for a while now.  The girls got to enjoy time at the little kiddie park up that way called Midway State Park....their favorite place (besides, Disney, of course).   We did enjoy time at the beach, but I forgot my camera, so it will just have to be memories that I have of that day, but I'm sure we'll be back.

Pre K graduation

Our little Ella completed PreK on June 2nd.  They had a little ceremony at her school, Kindercare.  She has done so well this year.  She's starting to read & her writing has come a long way.  The most marked development has been her social skills/independence.  She is such a big girl now & actually won the "most independent" award.  We are so thankful for such a wonderful school for her & how prepared she is for Kindergarten.  Can't believe our baby will start the big K in the Fall.  We love you & are so very proud of you Ella.  What a joy it is to watch you grown & learn!

Ella & her sweet teachers, Ms. Christine & Ms. Becky, we are so thankful for these 2 ladies!

Kindergarten graduation

Jessica graduated from Kindercare's Kindergarten program on the May 25th.  Although, I totally messed up the times & we arrived late, we did get to grab a few pics of her in her cap & gown.  Afterwards, we went out for a fancy dessert.  We are so proud of our big girl.  She has learned so much this year & today in class she actually read a book to the other kids.  I'm amazed by how far she's come this year & we are looking forward to many new things this next year.  Congrats to our graduate, we are so proud & love you so much!

Our beautiful graduate

The little one, just because
