Charlotte Grace

Charlotte Grace Passineau arrived on Jan 23, 2017 at 1:25 pm, just in time for mommy to finally have some lunch!  Charlotte gave mommy some trouble the last month of pregnancy & there were many stressful weeks leading to her birth, but we were so glad to finally meet her.  She was a total surprise to our family, but most welcome.  She is a very agreeable baby & loves to look at her sisters.  She is proving to be that missing piece to our family that we didn't even know we needed.  What a beautiful blessing we received in 2017!  A newborn definitely threw our family for a loop, but we are thankful for our newest addition.  She's already very social & enjoys spending time with all of us.  As Charlotte has moved from being a baby to toddler to preschooler, we see the strong-willed, funny, loving little girl that she is becoming.  She is sassy and creative & a whole lot of fun.

Finally, after what seems like forever Ms. Charlotte Grace Passineau has arrived.  She's perfect & healthy & we couldn't be more in love.  The girls just adore their little sister.

Charlotte's nursery

When you are awaiting a baby & too preggo to do much else, you nest & take pictures of your baby's nursery.  I'm calling Charlotte's nursery the DIY nursery, as I did a lot of the decorating last minute & made most of the accent pieces myself, thank you Pinterest.  Thankfully the room was already yellow, so I just added some pink touches to make it a bit more girly.  I bought some watercolor clipart on Etsy & designed the canvas & bible verse myself using photoshop.  Since things have changed & you can't use bumpers or bedding really for babies anymore I thought her crib looked kind of sad, so I made a diy crib canopy with flowers & tulle to make it more pretty.  I know this will only last a few months as soon she'll be pulling at it & it will have to come down, but for the now the effect is pretty...to me at least.  Here's what I got for the nursery.  It's warm & girly for our littlest princess!

Since this is my very last baby & I have stopped working, I thought I'd grab a few maternity photos of myself for posterity & for little Charlotte Grace.  I happened to find this gown at the Goodwill for $6 & thought it would photograph well.  I like how these turned out, although, these have been a rough few weeks & I don't really know when baby will arrive (my due date & size of baby keeps varying) I know I'm close.  Tomorrow I have an OB appointment & am hoping to schedule an induction, if she doesn't come tonight, which at this point, nothing would surprise me!  For now, she's still tucked in my belly safe & warm & although, we don't know what to expect with Ms. Charlotte, I'm guessing she'll bring something very special to our family.  Big thanks to Michael for a new upgraded camera lens & for a new remote for my camera, both made these so much easier.  Up for tomorrow, a few maternity photos with the girls.....
