No, we didn't get a new indy car race in Pittsburgh, but this is how fast I feel my life is going some days. Between all the feedings, 3 meals, plus 2 or more snacks for each child, plus the nap time stuff, bath time, all of my house chores, errands, etc, & then playing with the kiddos (my hats off to all my friends who work full time with little ones, I'm sure it's even more exhausting) I feel as though days, weeks, months just zip by. Lately, especially I just can't believe how fast time is flying in our lives. Does having kids just make you more aware of this or does life speed up when you have children?? Don't know, but it seems like I notice it more now that we have children. It's hard to believe in 2012 we will be celebrating Ella's 1st birthday & Jessica's 2nd birthday. I guess that's why seasoned parents tell you to enjoy every moment because it does go by very quickly. I also think having children only 14 months apart I feel like things are in warp speed (had to throw in a Star Trek term for my hubs, I know he's so proud ;). While Jessica is running everywhere, Ella is starting to pull up on everything, that will definitely make your life interesting. I wouldn't change a thing right now and know that much too soon this baby phase will be over. Anyway, here's a look at how the Pittsburgh 500 is run at our house. Have a wonderful day ;)

8 months old & pulling up--hope this isn't an indication of early walking--she's going for the chocolate milk, in case you're wondering |
