Little umbrella girl

Don't know why, perhaps, it's because I take so many pictures, but I just felt these looked good in more of an antiqued edit.  Ella was so excited to use her umbrella the other day, her face may not show it, but the excitement was there.  It was warm, like 60, & we had light rain.  She was saying the whole time that she was holding "minnie brella" aka Minnie Mouse umbrella.  Yep, if you look closely she's wearing a minnie mouse scrunchy on her left wrist, she thinks it's a bracelet (bonus, she can't break it, so I don't tell her any different).  Enjoy a look at our little umbrella girl & have a great day!  Picked up those cute little hounds tooth rain boots at a consignment sale for $2...brand new!  I love a good deal :)

Ok, so no fancy editing on this one, but still cute, if you ask me :)

April showers bring May flowers.....here's hoping for lots of flowers in May!!

Nuna & Pawpaw's Spring Visit 2013

Nuna & Pawpaw (my parents) visited last week, hence, my blog silence :)  We had a fun time with the kids & I think both the kids & grandparents were exhausted by the end of the week.  Of course, I took plenty of pics to document their visit.  We are fortunate that, although, both sets of grandparents live far away, they always make it a priority to see our children.  Thanks to Nuna & Pawapaw for spoiling the kids (well, really, us all) with lots of treats & gifts.  Monday, we started off the week by visiting some covered bridges & then stopping by Sarris candy store/ice cream parlor for some treats.  On Tuesday, we took the kids to our final story time at the local church, then we went to Fun Fore All to burn off some energy.  My dad has done 2 over seas tours with the military, so you would think, he'd have no fear, but the swing ride, almost got the best of him (sorry, dad, but it's true :-) On Wednesday, it was rainy & cool so we opted for some indoor fun, Jump Zone.  Thursday, we decided to stay close to home, so the girls took Nuna & Pawpaw to Wildwood for some fun & lunch.  Thanks to them for traveling all the way from Alabama to see us the girls!
