Ella's B-day

On Ella's 2nd B-day, Daddy was out of town, but that didn't stop me & Jessie from giving her a nice day.  We took Ella to the "farm" aka Soergel's orchards to get a donut & play.  She & Jessie loved their treats, then we went out to play on the wooden playsets.  The girls also got to see the animals...to their delight, they had a baby cow named Noah that both the girls loved!!  After we had played for a while, we headed to the dollar store for 2 balloons, Ella's was a happy birthday cupcake & Jessie had a purple flower...but hers went flying off into the sky a short time after we arrived home b/c she would not listen to me & keep it tied to her wrist...on well, glad they were only a $1.  Later in the day she told me it was ok that her balloon went into the sky b/c Jesus likes balloons, in her mind it made sense, cute, right??  We then filled their new kiddie pool & the girls played for a while before we had lunch.  By the time lunch was over, the birthday girl was exhausted & grumpy.  We read some books & then we said "night-night" so she could have a good nap!  Here are some pics of our day together.  I hope she had a fun day despite the fact daddy was not here, I tried to make it enjoyable for her.  I should also mention that Ella & Jessie too were showered by gifts from the grandparents/Aunt Wendy & Uncle Brett.  Thanks to them for thinking of her.  We loved all the gifts!
