Update

So guys, I've been struggling to feel inspired with the weather still being like winter…but, I thought I should update the old blog.

  • Our days lately have been filled with art, attempts at playing outside when the weather wasn't gross, & dress up.
  • We've also been cooking, the girls new favorite to make is mini-pies…recently we made mini blueberry pies, which daddy also enjoyed.

  • We've all been sick for basically a month…colds, bronchitis, stomach issues, you name it, the girls have had it & in turn so have we.
  • The girls just had haircuts & they both look a lot cuter.  They always amaze me with the hairdresser appt….they love going to "mommy's beauty shop"…are they Southern or what??  Folks in Pittsburgh always laugh at them when they call the salon a "beauty shop".   They both love to sit in the big chairs & have their hair washed & cut.   Ms. Jackie their stylist always gives them a "princess braid" for being good, they love it & hardly let me take it out at night.

  • Sidewalk chalk is a big deal around our house…they love coloring on the patio outside our kitchen.  Jessica has taken to drawing people & it's so funny.  People are drawn with a huge head & stick legs…daddy always gets glasses & a bow tie, but that's it.
Look at the size of that chalk…dollar spot at Target, it should last us a little while, at least :)

  • The girls went with daddy this last weekend to see their 1st movie, they saw Frozen & are now obsessed with Princess Elsa & Anna.  Yesterday, while in Target, we saw that Frozen is already out on DVD, how can that be??

  • Due to the continued winter-like weather, I've been trying to find beauty in everyday things, I've taken some pics of said things to encourage myself that this is true
