So I hope they won't mind, but I had to share a few pics that I took of Gerry, Katie, & Shelby Poniatowski. They are the leaders of our small group & some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Katie asked me to take a few pics for them for their Christmas cards & of course, I agreed. I had so much fun taking these pics & editing them. Truly they are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside...a rare thing indeed! It was really nice to have models that actually wanted to look in my direction, I hardly knew what to do. I took all of these in RAW format & then edited them. I did learn that I need a lens hood &/or filter when you try that back lighting thing with sunset, but I am still just an amateur hobbyist. I also learned that converting RAW to jpeg--sharpness decreases, so these are not a sharp as the originals. I might add...my hats off to folks who do photography as a profession, it is much, much harder than they make it look (I'm just dabbling in it & it's tough). Anyway, enjoy a few pics of our wonderful friends.
