A little ingenuity

So I got my fancy new camera for my birthday & I've been trying out different settings & different light.  I picked up a piece of bead board from home depot for $5 b/c I thought it would make a good background & used a bathroom mat (that I already had) for these pics.  Taking pics of the girls is truly a great hobby for me to have right now, b/c it seems like as soon as one is awake the other is napping & vice versa....so it leaves little time to get out during the day.  Of course, we have our outings & I have plenty of chores to keep me busy...trust me, but it is fun to have a creative outlet to experiment with my "new toy".  I feel so privileged that I don't have to work right now (I do intend & have to go back to work in a few years....school debt must be repaid!), but I do miss the artistry of dentistry...I think taking pics of the girls fills that gap very well.  Anyway, enjoy my latest experiment!  Have a wonderful day.

Look at those big, beautiful eyes---watch out boys, she's off limits until after grad school!

The one thing I can honestly say I contributed to her are those blue eyes (& the arched eyebrows)...love them ;)
