Franklin Park Community Day 2014

Every year our little borough has a community day in the park.  This year it was held one week before the 4th.  We've gone to community day the last couple of years, but it is always so hot & uncomfortable.  This year, when we first arrived it was sweltering….but it soon cooled down, thankfully.  The girls enjoyed face painting, bounce house, using the firemen's big hose, & other little rides (Ella's face paint only lasted a little while, but it was cute while it lasted :).  Later after we had played for a few hours & taken the girls home for a bath, we returned for a fantastic fireworks display…no pics from that, but the girls were in awe!   We took daddy's new truck & sat in the truck bed to watch, it was the first time the girls actually got fireworks & enjoyed them.  A fun day was had by all!  Hope you all have a great day :)
