Sleeping Beauty & a food Beast

I know I've probably told everyone a million times, but Ella is such a sweet baby.  She's laid back & she is such a good sleeper for a baby so small.  When Jessica was her age, she didn't nap at all....no seriously, she didn't nap at 3 months old!  She'd just watch me do things all day long and maybe catnap for no more than 30 min. at a time throughout the day.  Ella on the other hand, takes 3 good naps a day and thankfully has started sleeping thru the night.  Everyone says it, but you truly can see a difference in their personalities from a very young age.  Even in utero Ella was a very different baby than Jessica.  Ella never kicked me unless Jessica was sitting on my lap while Jessica kicked me so much during the day that my ribs would be sore at night.  Here's evidence of my little sleeping beauty yesterday afternoon:
I know each of our girls will have different strengths and weaknesses and I hope to never compare them in a way that makes one or the other feel bad.  As for Ms. Jessica, she's always been our little ham.  She loves to do funny things and get people to laugh at her.  Her sweet little smile has a way of making the entire world seem brighter.  She thought it was funny yesterday at dinner to get dirty while eating as much food as her dada.
A mac & cheese monster; two spoons get the job done faster!

No more frozen blueberries in sight

We are going away this weekend for an overnight to celebrate our wedding anniversary.  Our sweet friend & babysitter-of-choice, Aunt Lisa, is brave enough nice enough to keep the girls for us while we get away to a B&B about 1 hr. north of our home.  If your reading Lisa--thank you in advance.  I hope to have pics to share of the B&B & of us at dinner (it's a tradition for us to always have our pic taken while eating in honor of our anniversary & b/c we love food).  Have a great Friday & wonderful weekend :)
