Labor Day at the Lake

We spent Saturday of Labor Day weekend at Lake Erie.  Although, not what many would consider a traditional beach with white sand, the beach there is lovely & the girls had a blast.  Jessie spent most of our time picking up "magic" rocks & Ella squealed with delight as the waves hit her.  It was a little cool in the water, but the girls didn't seem to mind & enjoyed going out in deeper water with daddy to swim.  We also hiked along a beautiful stream down to the beach & saw some small perch on the way.  What a magical day for 2 little girls.  After our fun time at the beach, we had lunch a little restaurant & then hit the road with 2 tired little girls.  It was a great family time.  Michael had to work the remainder of the weekend to ensure he was caught up before our big trip to Paris, next week (this is my last post until I return, much cleaning & packing to do)!  Enjoy some of our snapshots from our last trip to the lake for the summer.   I don't know about anyone reading, but we are looking forward to all of the Fall holidays this year :)
