Apple painting

A week or so ago, when it was still warm the girls & I did a fun, albeit messy craft using apples to paint.  When we first started they were trying to use just their hands to grasp the apples, but we soon discovered that a fork in the apple to make it like a stamp was much easier.  Give it a try if you have little ones, my girls did several pictures & it turned out really neat!  They were entertained with this craft for close to 45 min....so in my book it's a winner, of course, they did need a bath immediately following.

P.S.  We attempted to use leaves to paint with, but that didn't go so well, I read online that the fake leaves from the dollar store work better :)
