Pumpkin carving

Continuing...our pumpkin/Halloween theme for the week: We carved our pumpkins this last weekend.  Michael did all the difficult parts, cutting the tops for us & mostly scooping out the insides.  Mostly, he wanted the pumpkin seeds to roast for himself, but you know, that's ok as long as I don't get too much pumpkin goo on myself :)  The girls played in the goo & got covered with the stuff, but mostly were interested in putting the pumpkins back together once I had carved out the pieces for the designs...it was like a pumpkins shape sorter to them.   Jessie requested a happy face for her Jack-o-lantern & Ella wanted a ghost....b/c I can never say no, they both got what they wanted.
