A love/hate relationship

Lately, Jessica has some pretty drastic ups & downs.  One second she's loving you and the next you get bitten (poor mommy).  This morning, for whatever reason, it was MoMo's (the monkey) turn to face the wrath.  As I mentioned before, her teething has been pretty bad and MoMo has not been out of her sight since she got him as a gift from Michael's Aunt Vicki.  MoMo seems to make the teething bearable.  So this morning she was loving on MoMo and taking him for a ride on her pony when all of a sudden I heard her squeal & she came back into the kitchen.  MoMo didn't make it and I wondered what happened.  When she went on her 2nd trip to make the loop around the stairs I happened to see MoMo laying on the floor and Jessie told me he was "cuck, cuck" (which is her word for dirty or for things she shouldn't touch).  I also noticed that the hall bathroom door was slightly opened, most likely from the construction guys.  When I went over to MoMo I found him to be wet---I think you all know where this is going.  MoMo went for a swim in the potty!  Some things I learned from this experience:

1) Jessica understands that things that go in the potty are "cuck, cuck"
2) She can easily open a door, put MoMo in the potty ,and then close the door again--all without mommy hearing
3) Teething does turn even the sweetest kids into little monsters
4) A good clean potty is a good thing when you have a mischievous toddler (for once my OCD about cleaning is helpful)

Needless to say, MoMo ended up going for a full wash & is now in my dryer as I type this entry.  Let's hope he's dry by the time she wakes up from her nap, which could be any time.  On a different note, I made my 1st trip to Sam's Club today with both girls.  I had to laugh as I got everyone all situated.  Jessica in the cart & baby Ella in the baby bjorn carrier thing....I was quite a sight!  The women looked at me like, bless your heart, I've been there and the men looked at me like wow that lady looks crazy!  Anyway, I did get everything on my list and the house is stocked for now.  Hope you all have a great Wednesday....see some pics below of Jessica & her little friend MoMo.
