8 months old

Baby Ella is 8 months old today & I truly think this is my favorite age with her.  Her little personality is just blossoming.  She's into everything b/c she scoot/crawling everywhere & she is trying to pull up on anything that is at her level....this seems a little early, but I guess every baby is different.  She is really into clapping lately and loves to smile at dada.  She's a flirt by nature.  She loves to be dressed up & have us make a fuss over her.  She (thankfully) continues to be a good napper & mostly good sleeper, unless her sister is awake or she is teething.  She is wearing a size 4 diaper & size 12 months clothes.  She weighs about 21 lbs.  She loves to eat....no, seriously.  She eats usually 4-5 containers of baby food and maybe an additional carton of yougart at night.  All of her formula has cereal mixed in with it & thankfully that keeps the reflux at bay.  She likes the exersaucer, but mostly likes to be on the floor exploring.  Her face has definitely changed in last few months & she's looking more like an older baby, more like a toddler face really.  She loves Jessica & her bath.  They really crack each other up in there.  She also loves our real kitty & Jessica's Kitty Lulu.  At night right before she goes to bed, she just wants me.  She wants me to hold her like an infant so she can fall asleep.  She truly has a difficult time getting to sleep unless we follow this routine.  Still no teeth yet, although it looks like they should pop through at any moment.  She's teething like crazy & chewing on anything she can find.  She can feed herself little yougart melts...these are a big hit with her.  She's begun to like the pacifier also...don't know what I'm going to do with these pacey loving girls!  I think that's about it for little Ms. Ella.  She's got a sweet little personality & we love her more everyday.  So Happy 8 months to my little baby girl :0)
